John Samson was born and raised in Lanarkshire, Scotland. His talent was recognized at the early age and granted him the opportunity to attend the Glasgow School of Art.
With John’s formal art training and a career as an Engineer, a style has emerged with a natural precision that is aesthetically unique, and visually captivating. John has seen the world’s beauty as a global traveller, and paints as he is inspired. While living in the United States, the sorrow of 911 and the courage displayed evoked John to capture the moment in a piece dedicated to the heroes. The image has been used by the USO to benefit the charity for active serving military and two United States Veterans charities.
